Meeting with a recycling expert מפגש עם מומחה למיחזור

כחלק מפרויקט החקר, פגשנו מומחה למיחזור פלסטיק. הוא הסביר לנו על תהליך המיחזור ועל החשיבות של הצד הפיננסי של המוצר שלנו. הוא גם עזר לנו להבין מה הכיוון שבו אנו רוצים להתמקד. בנוסף למדנו על צפיפות נפחית והשפעתה על עלויות מיחזור ועל בעיות נוספות בתהליך המיחזור כמו חוסר יכולת לבצע הפרדה מוחלטת של סוגי החומרים השונים.

As part of the research for our project, we met with a plastic recycling expert. He explained the process of recycling plastic and the importance of the financial feasibilty of our product. He also helped us narrow down our ideas and understand the direction we want to explore. We learned about the importance of maximizing volume density. We also learned about problems in the recycling process such has seperating matirials.
